After my engine in the Genesis coupe grenaded , I managed to get the turbo free of charge. So I decided to hang on to it in case I decided to turbo anything else in my garage.
My question is am I storing this correct? I covered all holes and ports. I'll probably turbo the M52TU just for the hell of it, since I can get a new engine for less than 500$. Is there anything else I need to know about storing turbos?

That's all I'd do. Then put it in a bag or something to keep birds from flying off with it.

Fog/boeshield the exhaust side and seal. Use an oil with good anti rust properties in b earing section ( amsoil vrod or motorcycle oil) , then cap it off. Straight coolant in the coolant routes, cap it off.
Done, or just seal it up and pray.

Easier than mine maybe a bit less gross when coolant mixes with oil.
